A chocolate-forward medium roast for your everyday cup. Sometimes in specialty coffee it’s fun to try something new, but everyone can use a coffee that is just an “old faithful” where your coffee just gives you hug every morning. Day after day it can be the same and you still respond, “that’s fantastic.” Some of my most loyal customers (my parents) say Tailwind is the most enjoyable coffee I've ever roasted, and I'm not going to argue with them. I could drink it every day and be happy.
Chocolate is the first thing you'll taste, and it sticks around through the finish. It's a medium roast with a rich, round body and a smooth finish. Brew it as a pour-over and pay attention, and you'll find a hint red apple and cherry in there too. .
Every coffee in the blend gets its own roast profile, set up to bring out as much sweetness and chocolate as possible. I blend them after they come out of the roaster.
Most coffee peaked weeks before you bought the bag. Tailwind gets roasted after you order, and I deliver it to your door myself before it reaches its peak flavor window.
