Nestled in the heart of Colombia's legendary Coffee Triangle (Eje Cafetero), the Caldas region unfolds across the lush, volcanic slopes of the Cordillera Central Andes, where coffee plantations cascade down the sides of the mountains. This coffee is from the higher elevations of the region, where cooler temperatures, fertile soil, and steady Andean rains allow this Castillo Arabica variety to mature slowly, yielding beans renowned for nice acidity, medium body, and delightful notes of chocolate and berries.
